SPARETECH was founded on a simple belief: manufacturers shouldn’t lose time, money, or productivity because of diconnected spare parts information. After experiencing MRO challenges firsthand on the shop floor, our founders saw how fragmented systems and unreliable data slow down maintenance teams, inflate inventory, and drive unnecessary downtime. That insight became the foundation for SPARETECH, AI software designed to bring clarity to spare parts management. Today, by connecting systems and creating transparency across inventories and suppliers, we help global manufacturers reduce MRO costs, improve uptime, and move toward a zero waste industrial sharing economy.

2019
SPARETECH begins operation
SPARETECH was founded by Martin Weber and Dr. Lukas Biedermann, inspired by the MRO challenges they experienced on the shop floor.
2020
Launch of our MRO software
The first version of SPARETECH’s product went live, with the database surpassing 1 million entries. During this time, the team also grew to more than 20 employees.
2021
€5M Seed Funding
SPARETECH secured €5 million in seed funding to accelerate product development, expand the team, and scale its global vision.
2022
International Industry Award
SPARETECH received the Yanfeng Supplier Excellence Award for the added value and service we guarantee our customers.
2023
SAP Partnership & Series A
SPARETECH became an official SAP Partner and raised €10 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, supporting its international expansion.
2024
Expansion to the US
A new office was opened in Chicago to better serve global customers and strengthen SPARETECH’s presence in the North American market.
2025
Enterprise Security & Compliance
SPARETECH successfully completed its SOC 2 Type II audit, reinforcing its commitment to secure and reliable enterprise operations.
